WEEKLY REFLECTION SECOND PHASE (FIRST WEEK)

Our second phase of teaching practice began on 5th November 2025 at GHSS Anchalummood. I am truly glad to continue this journey with my friends Aleena and Aiswarya, just as we did in the first phase. Returning to the same school felt both familiar and refreshing, as we were warmly welcomed by the teachers and students.

Since this week was a short one, with only Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday as working days, we mainly focused on getting back into the classroom routine and re-establishing rapport with our students. I was assigned to continue teaching English, and I began revising the lessons from the previous phase while introducing new portions. The students responded with great enthusiasm, making the sessions lively and interactive.

The highlight of this week was Friday’s celebration of the school’s victory in the Sub-District Championship. The entire campus was filled with excitement as students and teachers joined together to celebrate the success. A rally was conducted to mark the occasion, spreading a sense of pride and unity across the school.

Overall, this first week was short but meaningful. It helped me smoothly transition into the second phase of practice, rekindle my connection with the students, and set a positive tone for the upcoming weeks. I look forward to the new learning experiences and challenges ahead.
