WEEKLY REFLECTION TENTH WEEK (FIRST PHASE)
Day 37 – Day 40: 6 October – 9 October 2025
“Every ending is a new beginning — teaching may pause, but the learning never stops.”
The tenth week of my teaching practice marked the final week of the first phase, making it both memorable and emotional. It was a short yet eventful week filled with learning, laughter, and reflections. Along with completing the prose Engine Trouble by R.K. Narayan, our school also hosted the School Youth Festival, which added great vibrancy and excitement to the atmosphere.
From 6th to 8th October, the youth festival brought the entire school alive with performances, competitions, and creativity. Around 90 events were conducted, and the majority of the students participated enthusiastically in various categories — from literary and cultural events to art and music. Watching my students perform confidently and cheer for their friends was a heartwarming experience. It reminded me of how education goes beyond textbooks — it’s also about nurturing talents and celebrating individuality.
Despite the busy schedule, the students remained attentive and participated eagerly in class discussions. Their understanding of R.K. Narayan’s humor and narrative style had grown noticeably. As this phase came to a close, I felt a deep sense of accomplishment and gratitude — for my students, my mentors, and the joyful journey this first phase has been. It wasn’t just about teaching a text, but about growing together in patience, confidence, and connection.
