Fathima Memorial Training College, Mylapore, in association with the National Service Scheme (Unit No: KL-07-178), proudly organized the International Yoga Day Celebrations on 20 June 2025 at the Seminar Hall. With the theme “Find your peace, one breath at a time,” the event aimed to highlight the importance of yoga in achieving mental clarity, physical well-being, and inner peace. Participants enthusiastically joined the sessions, embracing yoga as a lifestyle. The serene ambiance, inspirational messages, and collective spirit made the event a truly rejuvenating experience.   As part of Reading Day celebrations on June 19, the NSS Unit (KI-07-178) of Fathima Memorial Training College, Kollam, organized a vibrant literary event at the college seminar hall. The programme, led by Principal Dr. M. Omaniaheelan and Programme Officer Smt. Asha Rani P, aimed to ignite a love for reading and honor the legacy of P.N. Panicker. Events included reading sessions, story narration, book reviews, and poem recitations. Volunteers also donated books to school students as part of a unique reading challenge. The celebration began with a sapling planting ceremony held at Nakshatra Vanam, Children’s Park, Kollam , which was formally inaugurated by Smt. Honey Benjamin , Honorable Mayor of Kollam Corporation.
