PUPPET MAKING

The students of Fathima Memorial Training College (FMTC), Mylapore, successfully created an impressive lady puppet under the expert guidance of their arts teacher, Sir Aneesh. Designed in the form of a girl, the puppet was carefully crafted using simple materials such as cardboard, chart paper, scissors, blue paint, and thread. A notable feature of the puppet was its well-shaped three-dimensional face, which added realism and visual appeal.

The construction of the puppet reflected a thoughtful balance between creativity and functionality. Threads were skillfully attached on both sides, allowing easy control and smooth movement of the puppet. This arrangement enabled graceful motion, making the puppet suitable for expressive performances.

During the presentation, the students displayed excellent teamwork and coordination while operating the puppet. Their ability to bring the puppet to life through natural and expressive movements highlighted their artistic skills, dedication, and collaborative spirit. The activity stood as a fine example of creative learning, made successful through the continuous support and guidance of Sir Aneesh.
