SUBJECT ASSOCIATION DAY

On the 16th of October, the Department of English at Fathima Memorial Training College, Mylapore, opened the doors to a magical realm we called Wondoria. Inspired by the enchanting world of Alice in Wonderland, this event transformed our campus into a whimsical setting that left everyone in awe. With mushroom decorations, floating bubbles, and eerie lights that recreated the essence of a fantasy forest, Wondoria was a true escape from reality.

The event was inaugurated by our esteemed principal, Dr. Lakshmy Natarajan, who shared words of encouragement and pride in seeing our creative vision come to life. Her presence added a special charm to the event, making the launch even more memorable.

One of the highlights of Wondoria was a role play based on Alice in Wonderland, where our English batch students embodied characters from Lewis Carroll's timeless tale. From the curious Alice to the mysterious Cheshire Cat, we brought each character to life, recreating iconic scenes that kept the audience captivated. The effort we put into costumes, expressions, and dialogue paid off as the teachers and fellow students expressed immense appreciation for our performance. They loved the creativity and enthusiasm we poured into this subject association activity, making it a cherished memory for everyone involved.

This event was a labor of love and teamwork, showing how literature can go beyond the pages of a book and create an immersive experience. Wondoria was not just an event; it was a celebration of imagination, literature, and our bond as the English batch. We’re grateful for the opportunity to bring this vision to life and for the encouragement we received from our teachers and peers.

As we wrapped up the day, we realized that Wondoria was more than just an event—it was a reminder of why we fell in love with literature in the first place. We’re already looking forward to our next adventure, and we can’t wait to see where our imaginations will take us next!
