FIELD TRIP
On the 24th of October, the 2024-26 batch of Fathima Memorial Training College, Mylapore, embarked on an exciting field trip to the scenic hill station of Vagamon. Organized by our college, this trip was filled with adventure, bonding, and the beauty of nature. Our group set out early in the morning, filled with anticipation and excitement for the journey ahead.
Vagamon welcomed us with its cool breeze, misty hills, and lush green landscapes. We started our exploration at Pine Valley, a serene and enchanting forest of towering pine trees. Walking through the thick pine forest felt like stepping into a magical world. The peaceful surroundings and the fresh pine-scented air gave us a break from the bustle of daily life and allowed us to appreciate nature’s quiet beauty.
Our next stop was the famous Thangalpara, a massive rock formation with deep cultural significance. Climbing up to this site was exhilarating, and the view from the top was worth every effort. The rolling hills and green valleys stretching out below gave us a breathtaking panoramic view of Vagamon. This spot allowed us to pause, take photos, and enjoy the feeling of being on top of the world.
We then headed to Paithalum Para, where the landscape seemed to transform into a sea of rolling meadows. Surrounded by greenery, we enjoyed moments of laughter, group photos, and a little rest after our adventurous morning. It was the perfect place to unwind, with the cool breeze and scenic beauty all around us.
This field trip to Vagamon was more than just an excursion; it was an experience of bonding, relaxation, and immersion in nature's beauty. Our group returned with memories that we’ll cherish forever, grateful for the opportunity to explore the wonders of Vagamon with friends and teachers.
