Empowering Women: FMTC Mylapore Celebrates International Women’s Day 2025

  On March 10, 2025 , Fathima Memorial Training College, Mylapore, celebrated International Women’s Day under the NSS Unit (KL-07-178). The event honored women's contributions and emphasized empowerment through engaging activities. The program began with a prayer by NSS volunteers, followed by a welcome address by Smt. Bincy Sain, NSS Program Officer. The presidential address was delivered by Dr. M. Omanaseelan, Principal, FMTC Mylapore. Chief Guest Dr. Mini K.S. , Vice Principal of FMTC Pallimukku, was honored with a Ponnada . The celebration featured impersonation and digital poster-making competitions , allowing students to creatively express women’s achievements. Felicitations were given by Smt. Anupama M.R. (Vice Principal, FMTC Mylapore) and Smt. Anamika B.S. (Union Advisor). The event concluded with a vote of thanks by NSS volunteer Alfiya, reinforcing the theme: “Let’s celebrate being women together.”
